The Mazafati date, recognized as one of the most popular and high-quality date varieties in Iran, is primarily cultivated in the Bam region of Kerman Province. Due to its sweet taste, soft texture, and high moisture content, it has numerous fans both domestically and internationally.

Characteristics of Mazafati Date:

Color: Dark brown to glossy black. Size: Between 2.5 and 4.5 centimeters. Moisture: Approximately 15% to 35%, resulting in its soft and tender texture. Taste: Sweet with hints of caramel and honey. Texture: Soft and fleshy with thin, glossy skin that easily separates from the flesh.

Storage Conditions:

To maintain freshness and quality, Mazafati dates should be stored at a temperature between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius. Under these conditions, they can be kept for up to 12 months after production.

Nutritional Value:
